Playtech enters F2P and DFS partnership with ITP

Inside The Pocket (ITP) and Playtech have entered into a strategic partnership, which will see ITP's free-to-play (F2P) and daily fantasy sports (DFS) platform offered to Playtech's international operator partners.

As part of the deal, over 100 F2P and DFS games will be offered to a number of Playtech’s operators around the world, giving ITP a “broader scope” in the market.

This distribution will occur “territory-by-territory”.

The deal will allow ITP to establish itself as a tool for Playtech customers, wherein they can take advantage of ITP’s acquisition and retention tools.

“The international scope provided by Inside The Pocket’s content aggregation platform represents an exciting opportunity for Playtech,” said Anthony Evans vice president of strategy at Playtech. “ITP’s content aggregation platform also provides the requisite flexibility for newly regulated and maturing markets.”

Inside The Pocket links up with ESPNcricinfo for fantasy offering

Cricket website ESPNcricinfo is linking up with white-label free-to-play sports games aggregator Inside The Pocket (ITP) to launch a new daily fantasy offering for India and the Indian subcontinent.

The free-to-play game will be launched via ITP’s WonderWins brand to coincide with the start of the 2022 Indian Premier League twenty20 cricket competition on March 26.

WonderWins, which will also house match coverage, news, information and analysis, will be ESPNcricinfo’s exclusive daily fantasy provider in India.

ITP, which launched in November 2020, said that WonderWins would be able to connect with “over 85 million discerning cricket fans on the ESPNcricinfo platform and further drive conversations with over 15 million highly engaged fans across its social media channels”.
